Japanese baseball league toasts Wolf Blass partnership

Australian winery Wolf Blass has entered into a partnership with Nippon Professional Baseball, the operator of Japan’s domestic league.

The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, names Wolf Blass the official wine supplier of NPB. The deal was struck by NPB and Treasury Wine Estates, Wolf Blass’ parent company.

Under the agreement, Wolf Blass will have a presence at NPB games, award ceremonies and fan events, and it will also be granted sponsorship rights to the homerun derby during the 2016 All Star Game Series.

In addition, co-branded wines will be developed, while various in-store activations will be organised to promote the partnership. The agreement also includes wine tastings, ticket giveaways and gift offers on Wolf Blass products.
