The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation, the global governing body for towed water sports, has entered into long-term partnerships with boat suppliers Nautique and Centurion Boats.
Both companies, which are subsidiaries of US-based boat manufacturer Correct Craft, have agreed 10-year deals with the body until 2025. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
Nautique has been named the IWWF’s exclusive waterski boat provider for its world championship events. The company will provide boats for the World Waterski Championships and its junior, U21, over-35, university and disabled equivalents. Centurion Boats will be the official wakeboard boat provider for the events.
“This long-term partnership with Correct Craft is the beginning of a new era and opens many exciting new opportunities for the IWWF,” Kuno Ritschard, IWWF president, said.
