Kosmos Tennis' 25-year agreement with the International Tennis Federation to run and commercialise the Davis Cup has been terminated following unsuccessful attempts to renegotiate the deal.
The two parties first aligned in 2018 in an attempt to make the competition more attractive to fans, sponsors and broadcasters, and revive its commercial fortunes. However, the deal has now ended after just five years. At the time of its unveiling, it was announced that Kosmos would invest $3bn (€2.8bn) over the contract period as the competition format was overhauled.
