Formula One team Red Bull Racing has agreed a multi-year partnership with Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Hisense.
Under the deal, Hisense becomes an official supplier to Red Bull and gains extensive rights to showcase its brand and technology in association with the team.
Hisense’s logo will feature on the nose of Red Bull’s racing cars, on the team's pit wall and driver monitors, and all team partner listing areas.
The sponsorship launched today (Thursday) ahead of this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit.
Hisense’s other major sports sponsorships are with North American stock car racing series Nascar, the Australian Open tennis tournament and German Bundesliga football team Schalke 04.
Through its latest partnership, Hisense said it is looking to become the third most popular global television brand, one place higher than last year.
