Formula One motor-racing team Lotus has agreed its latest short-term sponsorship deal by signing a three-race contract with Chinese television and refrigeration manufacturer Hisense.
Under the terms of the deal, Hisense will receive branding presence on the sidepods of the Lotus car at next weekend’s Italian Grand Prix and the United States GP, which takes place from October 31 to November 2.
The Hisense brand will feature less prominently on the Lotus airbox at the season-ending Abu Dhabi GP on November 21-23.
Dr. Lin Lan, Hisense vice-president, said: “As we grow our brand awareness globally, we aim to use proven partnerships that we know will deliver. Formula One, and in particular Lotus F1 Team, has huge potential and we are looking forward to working together over the coming months.”
Online gaming company Interwetten last month agreed to become a sponsor of Lotus for the German and Hungarian Grands Prix.
