Romy Gai, a former commercial executive at Juventus, has been appointed as Fifa’s chief business officer with Kay Madati, the incumbent chief commercial officer, to leave in the latest personnel rejig at football’s world body.
Madati, previously of Twitter, Facebook and Octagon, only took up his role nine months ago but is to depart in the coming months for what Fifa described as “personal reasons”.
