The International University Sports Federation (Fisu) has extended its partnership with Chinese sportswear firm Qiaodan Sports.
The new deal will run through to 2023. The announcement was made during Fisu’s Executive Committee meeting in Naples, Italy, where the 2019 summer Universiade gets underway today (Wednesday).
Fisu first partnered with Qiaodan Sports in 2016. The initial deal was due to run until 2020 and the two parties have now agreed to a long-term renewal.
As part of the new agreement, Qiaodan Sports will provide uniforms for the ‘Fisu Family’ at all events and educational initiatives.
Qiaodan Sports has previously sponsored Chinese and Russian delegations at Universiades.
