Italian lifting equipment manufacturer Fassi Gru has signed a one-year extension to its role as an official sponsor of the Superbike World Championship (WSBK) motorcycling series.
Having sponsored last year’s championship, Fassi billboards will again be displayed around all tracks on the WSBK calendar throughout 2014. Fassi cranes will also be exhibited within the race paddocks.
Giovanni Fassi, managing director of Fassi Group, said: “This year's calendar and especially the two new rounds in Malaysia and South Africa result in an even bigger international characterisation of the series. This represents a big opportunity for a company like ours, whose target is to be actively present in every continent.”
Fassi Gru will continue alongside Tissot, Nilox and Consorzio Tutela as one of WSBK’s official sponsors. The 2014 World Superbikes season commenced at the weekend in Phillip Island, Australia.
