Chinese companies Biau Bang, Beautiful Tomorrow and New Energy have agreed deals to sponsor the 2018 edition of the Asian Games multi-sport event, which will take place in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta and Palembang.
The three companies will serve as support sponsors of the Games and organise China-focused marketing campaigns around the event.
Biau Bang is a car accessories retailer, Beautiful Tomorrow is a building materials supplier and New Energy specialises in bioenergy technology solutions.
The deals come after Chinese sportswear company 361 Degrees in June agreed a deal to sponsor the Games.
Erick Thohir, chairman of the Games’ organising committee (INASGOC), said: “With this sponsorship cooperation, we are helped in exposure and also funding. Until now the total value of cooperation with the four Chinese companies has reached $12.1m (€10.4m), which consists of $6.6m in cash and $5.5m in the form of goods.”
The Games will run from August 18 to September 2.
