US automotive brand Chevrolet has agreed a multi-year deal to become the official truck of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) motorsport series.
Chevrolet will benefit from a major on-site presence at all NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events.
In addition, the NHRA Safety Safari team will use Chevrolet’s Silverado and Suburban trucks as emergency response and track preparation vehicles.
Chevrolet already has an affiliation with the series through its title sponsorship of the US Nationals, the NHRA’s showpiece event
