Apparel brand Canterbury has signed up as the new title sponsor of the New South Wales Rugby League’s premier rugby league competition in Australia.
The tournament will be called the Canterbury Cup NSW, with the sportswear company replacing financial services provider Intrust Super in the role.
It is the first time that an apparel brand has become the title sponsor of the competition.
Canterbury also provided the kit for New South Wales Blues in the 2018 State of Origin series against Queensland.
The Canterbury Cup season will begin this Sunday with South Sydney Rabbitohs taking on North Sydney Bears.
