Kingstone Press expands rugby league portfolio with England deal

Cider manufacturer Kingstone Press has reached an agreement with England Rugby League to become a principal partner of the country’s national rugby league team.

Kingstone Press’s two-year deal will cover the Four Nations tournament, which England will host later this year, and the 2017 World Cup in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

Under the agreement, Kingstone Press’s logo will feature on England’s playing and training kits for its Four Nations match against New Zealand on October 29.

Kingstone Press has an existing partnership with the Rugby Football League, the sport’s national governing body, and is the title sponsor of the lower-tier Championship, League 1 and National Conference League divisions. It also serves as the official cider of the top-tier Super League and the Challenge Cup knockout competition.

“Consumer awareness and recognition of Kingstone Press has grown tremendously since we first aligned the brand with the sport,” Justin Way, marketing controller for Aston Manor Cider, Kingstone Press’s brewery, said. “We continue to increase distribution and sales so that more fans can enjoy the brand nationwide.”

The Four Nations tournament will take place from October 28 to November 20.
