Spanish LaLiga football club Valencia has today (Friday) unveiled online betting provider Bwin as its main sponsor for the next three seasons.
From the 2019-20 season, Bwin’s logo will feature on the front of Valencia’s playing and training shirts.
Bwin was an existing sponsor of Valencia and last year renewed its sponsorship of the club until June 30, 2020. The new deal announced today will run until the end of the 2021-22 season.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed but Spanish newspaper AS reported that the deal would be worth around €15m ($17m).
As well as brand exposure on Valencia’s shirts, Bwin will benefit from advertising space across the Mestalla stadium and the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna training complex.
Bwin will replace US-based technology brand BLU Products as Valencia’s main shirt sponsor. BLU sponsored the team’s shirts for two seasons.
Bwin first partnered with Valencia in February 2017.
