German Bundesliga football clubs RB Leipzig and Hertha Berlin have signed new betting partners.
RB Leipzig has agreed a deal running until the end of the 2020-21 season with Unibet. The company will receive branding presence throughout Red Bull Arena and on the club’s digital platforms.
Martin Beranek, country manager in the DACH region for Unibet’s parent company Kindred, said: “RB Leipzig is a very attractive club for an international company like Unibet.
“In our sponsoring decision, it was important to us that our new partner also ideally suited us and communicates our values. ‘Quality over quantity’ is our common motto and we look forward to a successful cooperation.”
Meanwhile, Interwetten brand MoPlay has become Hertha’s new Official Sports Betting Partner. Terms of the deal brokered by the Lagardère Sports agency were not disclosed, but it will run on a long-term basis.
The mobile sportsbook brand has recently entered the German market. MoPlay already holds similar partnerships with English Premier League clubs Manchester United and Watford.
