Newly-promoted Premier League football club Cardiff City has entered into a partnership with online betting company 1XBET.
The deal names 1XBET as a global betting partner of the Welsh team for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
As part of the deal, Cardiff fans will benefit from unique competitions and prizes. 1XBET will also be granted use of online and offline assets and launch activation programmes in the areas in which it operates.
Cardiff said the partnership will help expand 1XBET’s reach across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North Africa and the Americas.
The deal marks 1XBET’s first with a Premier League club. Cardiff secured promotion to the top flight by finishing second in the Championship in 2017-18.
