Bucks expand corporate partnership portfolio with Raise deal

Global gift card marketplace Raise has entered into a corporate partnership with NBA basketball team the Milwaukee Bucks.

Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, the company will install an expanded and enhanced Wi-Fi network inside the team’s BMO Harris Bradley Center home arena.

Fans in attendance at Bucks home games will be able to access the Wi-Fi network via a smartphone to check scores, adjust fantasy line-ups, engage with the team on social media or utilise an in-seat ordering service via the Bucks’ official mobile application.

Raise will also sponsor eight parachute drops in the arena throughout the 2015-16 season. Fans that catch a parachute will find a co-branded Raise and Bucks leather money clip, each including $5 Raise credit, with one featuring $500 Raise credit.

In addition, Raise will sponsor a tee-shirt giveaway during the Bucks game against the Cleveland Cavaliers in April next year.

Matt Pazaras, senior vice-president, business development and strategy at the Bucks, said: “We’re always looking for ways to enhance the in-arena experience, and we’re so excited about the many ways Raise and the Bucks will partner to bring added value to our great fans this season.”
