Insurance firm Allianz will retain naming rights to the Sydney Football Stadium when the venue reopens later this year following a A$828m ($613.9m/€556.7m) redevelopment, the company has announced.

The sponsorship renewal is worth more than A$36m over the next six years, according to local reports. The Munich-based insurance firm has held the naming rights to the multi-purpose stadium since 2012.
