adidas has signed a multi-year partnership with Little League Baseball and Softball to become an Official Sponsor and the Official Supplier of uniform, footwear and coaches’ apparel.
The sportswear manufacturer will design and create official on-field uniforms for all seven of the Little League World Series events throughout the United States – including Intermediate, Junior, Senior Baseball and Softball Leagues. It will also provide training apparel and accessories.
As part of the deal, adidas will create brand and marketing activations at both the Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and the Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon.
In March, Little League and Major League Baseball signed a Joint Sponsorship Agreement to collaborate on sponsorship sales and management. Yet despite this working arrangement, Little League has chosen a different apparel and footwear partner than MLB, which earlier this year signed a 10-year pact with Nike, which begins in 2020.
