Swissquote: Manchester United deal grows global profile

Switzerland-based online financial services company Swissquote recently renewed its global partnership with Premier League football club Manchester United. The brand is the club’s Official Forex and Online Financial Trading Partner.

Swissquote is a provider of online financial and trading services. The first half of 2017 saw its revenues increase by 16.5 per cent year-on-year, from CHF 77.6m ($77.5m/€66.6m) to CHF 90.5m. In the same period, the company’s assets 'under custody' – customer securities that are held by Swissquote for safekeeping  passed the CHF 20bn mark for the first time.

In July, the brand became the first European online bank to offer ts clients the option to invest in Bitcoin cryptocurrency in exchange for both US dollars and euros.
