Web development platform Wix has agreed a sponsorship deal with Major League Baseball franchise the New York Yankees.
The deal names Wix as the official website design partner of the Yankees for the remainder of the 2016 season. The Tel Aviv-headquartered firm will receive brand exposure at Yankee Stadium on game days as part of the deal.
To mark the partnership, Wix has launched the #BiggestYankeesFan social media contest, which invites supporters to submit a video explaining why they are the ‘biggest’ Yankees fan.
The winner will be introduced to the crowd at Yankee Stadium during the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on September 13. The winner will also be able to build their own personal fan page at thebiggestyankeesfan.com.
