WSL title sponsor Barclays buoyed by knock-on effect of England’s Euro 2022 triumph

Barclays group head of sponsorship Tom Corbett has said he is delighted with the knock-on effects of the Lionesses’ Uefa Euro 2022 victory, and admits the brand had no idea of the explosion in women’s football to come when agreeing a three-year title sponsorship of the Women’s Super League (WSL) in 2019.
