Formula One motor racing team Williams has continued its commercial drive ahead of the 2014 season by renewing terms with long-time partner Oris.
The luxury Swiss watch manufacturer began its association with Williams in 2003 and will once again serve as the team’s official watch partner for the forthcoming campaign.
Oris will benefit from a new branding position on the nose of the Williams car, while retaining its presence on driver and mechanic overalls, driver gloves, driver helmets and team kit.
Last week Williams sealed a multi-year partnership with lifestyle protection insurer Genworth and Brazilian energy firm Petrobras is rumoured to be among those in contention as the UK-based outfit seeks further partners.
Reports on Thursday claimed Italian spirits brand Martini is close to being confirmed as Williams’ title sponsor, a designation that has been vacant since US telecommunications company AT&T cut its ties with the team upon the conclusion of a five-year deal in 2011.
