Nascar, the North American stock car-racing series, has agreed a multi-year extension to its partnership with US signaling devices manufacturer Whelen Engineering.
Under the agreement, Whelen will remain title sponsor of Nascar’s Modified Tour and Euro Series.
The deal will run through 2024 and will also see Whelen continue as the official warning lights of Nascar.
Whelen’s products will continue to be showcased across Nascar tracks and pace cars as part of the deal.
In addition, Whelen will retain title sponsorship of the Hall of Champions through a new 10-year deal with the Nascar Hall of Fame.
"More than a decade of successful partnership has resulted in Whelen Engineering being deeply connected to many levels of our sport," Jim Cassidy, Nascar‘s senior vice-president of racing operations, said.
"The Nascar Whelen Modified Tour and Nascar Whelen Euro Series are critical to reaching fans, developing talent and delivering great racing both domestically and abroad."
