Coffee and baked goods chain Dunkin’ Donuts has entered into a partnership with USA Hockey, the governing body for ice hockey in the United States.
Under the multi-year deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Dunkin’ Donuts will serve as the official coffee shop of USA Hockey and the US women’s national team.
Dunkin’ Donuts will benefit from logo placement on the practice jerseys of the women’s national team and also have access to a range of advertising opportunities on the USA Hockey website.
The deal will cover a number of key events, including the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship and the 2017 Women’s Four Nations Cup.
In addition, the company will receive recognition during USA Hockey’s National Championships domestic tournament, as well as in the governing body’s USA Hockey Magazine publication.
Tom Manchester, vice-president for field marketing at Dunkin’ Brands, said: “We look forward to working with USA Hockey to further advance our commitment to support female athletes and help drive awareness of the increasingly popular sport of women’s hockey.”
