The Swedish Hockey League, the country’s top division of club ice hockey, has entered into a partnership with Nordic-facing online betting operator NordicBet.
Although terms of the agreement were not disclosed, Jesper Svensson, commercial director at NordicBet, said that the partnership represents a ‘long-term’ investment for the company.
NordicBet will now serve as the exclusive sports betting partner of the Swedish Hockey League.
In addition, NordicBet will provide its customers and ice hockey fans with a selection of league-related content, such as statistics, updates and highlights.
The 2016-17 Swedish Hockey League begins on September 17.
