Sports clothing manufacturer Spyder has struck a deal with the US Ski and Snowboard Association to extend its long-term partnership with the US Alpine Ski national team.
The agreement will run for an additional four years, through to the end of 2020. The deal will cover the 2020 winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.
Under the agreement, Spyder will retain its role as the exclusive apparel partner of the US Alpine Ski team and continue to provide athletes with various clothing and equipment such as outerwear, speed suits and base-layers.
Spyder commenced its partnership with the US Alpine Ski team in 1989, with the new extension taking this relationship past the 30-year milestone.
Tiger Shaw, chief executive of the US Ski and Snowboard Association, said: “Spyder has helped maximise the performance of the US ski team throughout seven Olympics and 12 World Championships.”
