English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur has signed a five-season extension to its long-standing sponsorship deal with credit card company MBNA.
Tottenham first partnered with MBNA in 1998 and the association will now run until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
To mark the renewal, MBNA has launched a new credit card offer where Tottenham fans can receive a complimentary 2014-15 third shirt by successfully applying for the new card and spending £200 (€250/$330) in the first 90 days of opening the account.
Additionally, for every £1 spent on the card, fans will receive points that can be redeemed for exclusive Tottenham rewards including merchandise and visits to the team’s training centre.
Tottenham takes on Cypriot side AEL Limassol in the second leg of its Uefa Europa League play-off at White Hart Lane on Thursday, holding a 2-1 aggregate lead, while the London club is top of the Premier League after wins from its opening two matches of the season.
