Tampa Bay Lightning ships in logistics partner

NHL ice hockey team Tampa Bay Lightning has entered into a partnership with national freight shipping company BlueGrace Logistics.

BlueGrace, a Tampa-based firm, has agreed a three-year deal to become the preferred shipping partner of the club. The deal will cover the remainder of the 2015-16 NHL season, as well as the 2016-17 and 2017-18 campaigns.

As part of the agreement, BlueGrace will collaborate with the club on one community outreach event per season. It will also sponsor the Bolt Run, an annual charity race organised by the club’s Lightning Foundation.

In addition, BlueGrace will receive advertising exposure inside Lightning’s Amalie Arena on matchdays.

“This partnership enables us to team up with the Lightning on charitable initiatives, increase our local visibility and expand our national brand,” Bobby Harris, chief executive and founder of BlueGrace Logistics, said.
