NHL’s Devils recharge with new energy partner

The New Jersey Devils North American NHL ice hockey franchise has entered into a partnership with local energy provider East Coast Power & Gas (ESCO).

Terms of the deal were undisclosed, but it was confirmed that ESCO will become a partner and sponsor of the team, as well as serve as the officer energy supplier of the Devils and its Prudential Center home arena.

ESCO will also benefit from branding opportunities on various surfaces inside the arena, including ice-level dasher boards, concourses and in-bowl LED signage, and exterior marquee LED signage.

The agreement also includes radio advertising during Devils games, in addition to social media and web content, and hospitality access.

Vincent Palmieri, chief operating officer at ESCO, said: “Aligning ourselves with an organisation and brand as well thought of and endeared by thousands of New Jersey hockey fans not only makes business sense but common sense.”
