AFL Australian rules team Gold Coast Suns has signed a five-year sponsorship extension with commercial airline Virgin Australia.
The deal builds on an initial three-year association between the two parties.
Virgin Australia stands to benefit from signage at the team’s Metricon Stadium and game day hospitality, while it will announce a range of fan engagement initiatives.
An example of this is the Suns’ entry into the Virgin Australia film festival, giving fans an exclusive insight into the team’s high altitude training camp in Arizona, which currently has more than 21,000 views on video sharing platform YouTube.
