The Spanish Paralympic Committee has opted to extend a sponsorship deal with domestic public lottery operator Loterias y Apuestas del Estado.
Although terms of the agreement were not disclosed, it was confirmed that the deal will be in place for this summer’s Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Loterias will continue to provide grants to athletes, as well as support members of the Spanish Paralympic team with training and travel to major events.
The lottery provider began its sponsorship of the Spanish Paralympic Committee in 2014. It joined the Committee’s Plan to Support Paralympic Objective initiative as one of its private sponsors.
The rest are Decathlon, Iberdrola, Santalucia, Telefonica, AXA, Cofidis, ElPozo, Iberia, Liberty Seguros, El Corte Ingles, Ford, Gadis, Ilunion, Luanvi, Norauto, Calidad Pascual, Persán, Sanitas, Renfe, Unidental, RTVE, Fundacion ACS and Grupo Siro.
