Canadian Paralympic Committee extends with long-term partner

The Canadian division of pharmaceuticals company Pfizer has extended its partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee.

The length of the new deal was not disclosed. Pfizer has been partners with the Canadian Paralympic Committee for more than 20 years.

The new deal comes ahead of the 2018 winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang, Korea.

“I can truly say that the continuous investment from Pfizer Canada has been a backbone to the growth and advancement of the Paralympic movement in Canada that has taken place over the last 20 years,” Marc-André Fabien, president of the Canadian Paralympic Committee, said. “We look forward to the years ahead, working together to help Canada realise its potential as the top Paralympic nation in the world.”
