The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has renewed its partnerships with mobile phone operator Movistar and insurance company Pelayo.
Movistar’s agreement with the body will run until the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia, with the company retaining its position as the main sponsor of the men’s, women’s and U21 national teams.
Movistar will also have image rights to men’s national team manager Julen Lopetegui and will sponsor the clothing worn by the first-team squad.
As part of the agreement, Movistar will provide the RFEF and its facilities with the latest technological services to enhance the body’s communications services.
The RFEF struck the extended agreement with telecommunications group Telefónica, Movistar’s parent company. Movistar first partnered with the RFEF ahead of the Uefa Euro 2012 national team tournament.
Terms of the RFEF’s new agreement with Pelayo, which has sponsored the body for 10 years, were not disclosed
