Socios.com expands US presence with Bulls partnership

Fan engagement platform Socios.com has extended its aggressive global sports sponsorship activity by striking an agreement with the National Basketball Association’s Chicago Bulls.

Starting with the 2021-22 NBA season, Socios.com will provide fan engagement opportunities through monthly Twitter Polls, have in-arena TV-visible signage during Bulls home games, and be the presenting partner of the Bulls halftime score updates on Twitter.

Additionally, the Chiliz-owned company will have rights to use Bulls marks and logos.

"At the Chicago Bulls, we pride ourselves on identifying innovative ways to engage our fans across the globe, and we are excited to partner with Socios.com to help us reach that goal," said Matt Kobe, Bulls executive vice president for revenue and strategy.

The Bulls deal adds to ones Socios.com has with fellow NBA teams the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics, as well more than 40 other sports entities in both the United States and Europe including Formula 1 teams Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo Racing, as well as the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts organization, and European soccer clubs Valencia, Aston VillaManchester City, FC Barcelona,  Galatasaray, Juventus, and AC Milan.

The company additionally has recently struck similar deals with the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers and National Hockey League’s New Jersey Devils, both part of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment.
