Scottish Rugby, the governing body of rugby union in the country, has extended its partnership with soft drinks manufacturer A.G. Barr.
The Scottish company will remain the body’s official soft drink partner for a further three years until 2019. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
A.G. Barr’s product range, which includes such drinks as Irn-Bru, Strathmore Water and Barr Cola, will continue to support Scotland’s senior and rugby sevens national teams, as well as Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby, the country’s two Pro12 rugby union clubs.
The company’s drinks will be available to buy at Murrayfield, the home venue of the Scottish national side, and at the Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow.
A.G. Barr has been in partnership with the body for the past 18 months and has supplied over 200,000 bottles of Strathmore Water to Scottish rugby players during this time.
The deal has been struck as Scotland prepares to kick-off its 2016 Six Nations campaign against England at Murrayfield on Saturday.
