Scottish Rugby toasts Crabbie’s renewal

Scottish Rugby has extended a sponsorship agreement with the Edinburgh-based distiller John Crabbie & Co.

Through the three-year agreement, Crabbie’s becomes the “Official Gin Partner” of Scottish Rugby and the Crabbie’s Ginger Beer brand has also retained its official partnership affiliation.

The sponsorship package includes pouring rights for Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer and Crabbie’s Gins at BT Murrayfield Stadium, starting with Scotland’s match against France on 24 August. Advertising and sampling rights, plus a contingent of hospitality tickets, are also included within the inventory.

In addition, Crabbie’s will receive branding rights (plus pouring rights and hospitality) at Edinburgh Rugby’s home games.

In 2016, Crabbie’s first became an official partner of Scottish Rugby and the national governing body also signed up Eden Mill as its first official gin partner.

Meanwhile, Scottish Rugby has signed a domestic broadcast rights agreement and host broadcasting deal for Super6, the new rugby union series featuring semi-professional players.
