Speciality glass company Schott has entered into a partnership with German Bundesliga football team Mainz 05 for the 2014-15 season.
Schott, which is headquartered in Mainz, will benefit from advertising on LED bands at the club’s Coface Arena during home matches.
The deal secures television exposure in Germany for Schott and will also boost its presence in its important markets of Japan and South Korea.
Japan international Shinji Okazaki plays for Mainz alongside South Korea duo Ja-Cheol Koo and Joo-Ho Park.
The financial terms of Schott’s agreement with Mainz were not disclosed.
