English Premiership rugby union team Saracens has entered into a long-term partnership with global derivatives firm CME Group.
The precise terms of the deal were undisclosed but Saracens confirmed that CME Group will benefit from a pair of high-visibility sponsorship placements.
The CME Group logo will appear on the back of the Saracens playing jersey and one of the entrance gates at the London-based club’s Allianz Park stadium will be renamed CME Group Gate.
Further collaborations are expected, with Saracens chairman Nigel Wray highlighting the club’s decision to move its commercial sales team into the City of London where CME Group has its European headquarters.
Saracens are currently second in the Premiership standings having lost top spot at the weekend following a 22-13 home defeat to London Irish.
