Sports supplements brand Voxx has agreed a sponsorship deal with Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football team Santos.
Under the one-year partnership, Voxx’s branding will feature on Santos’ playing shorts.
Financial details of the sponsorship were not disclosed, but it arrives after club president Modesto Roma Junior told ESPN Brasil that Santos’ debts have reached R$400m (€115m/$127m).
Last October, Santos switched to a match-by-match shirt sponsorship model, with plastics manufacturer Corr Plastik the only permanent presence on the sleeves of the jersey.
Voxx has an established presence in Serie A though deals with Fluminense and Botafogo.
