EDF signs as National Supporter of Fifa Women’s World Cup

French energy firm Électricité de France has signed as a National Supporter of the Fifa Women’s World Cup.

As part of the deal, EDF becomes the fifth National Supporter of the tournament, which will be held in France in 2019.

As a National Supporter, EDF will get brand exposure before and during the tournament, access to ticketing and hospitality benefits, and access to co-branded digital content from Fifa.

EDF has been involved in football sponsorship for over 25 years, and has been a major partner of the French Football Federation since 2014.

In the last four years, EDF has invested significantly in women’s football in France, through dedicated activations and its partnership with former French international star Laura Georges.
