Formula One motor-racing team Renault has entered into a partnership with French fashion brand Daniel Hechter.
The three-year deal covers the 2017 to 2019 F1 seasons and grants Daniel Hechter brand exposure on Renault’s cars.
Team members will also wear the brand’s outfits to travel in, while a co-branded clothing collection will be developed and sold in countries hosting an F1 grand prix.
Cyril Abiteboul, managing director of Renault Sport Racing, said: “So much of Formula One is related to image and brand perception so this new relationship with Daniel Hechter means we can truly show our unique savoir vivre.
“We both embrace the international nature of F1 as a sport and this shared passion and French heritage means our brands have a natural synergy. We are looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership, bringing a further French touch to Formula One.”
