British telco Vodafone has signed women’s US Open champion Emma Raducanu as its grassroots tennis ambassador – adding to the brand’s profile in UK tennis as a sponsor of the Wimbledon tennis championships.
In the role, Raducanu will become the face of ‘Play Your Way to Wimbledon, powered by Vodafone’, the largest individual mass participation tennis competition in the UK. Formerly known as the ‘Road to Wimbledon’, the programme will be delivered by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (AELTC) and Vodafone.
