Pita Pit has signed up as the official quick service restaurant partner of the 2017 World Masters Games in Auckland, New Zealand.
Under the deal, Pita Pit will provide food services for athletes, supporters and volunteers the multi-sport event.
Pita Pit has a significant presence in New Zealand, with 72 outlets across the country and 39 in the Auckland region.
“Their extensive network of outlets throughout the Auckland region makes them very accessible and we are delighted they have plans to open a Cambridge outlet so we will be able to offer the same quick service restaurant option for the two sports based there,” 2017 World Masters Games chief executive Jennah Wootten said.
Pita Pit is already the official nutrition partner for Netball New Zealand and the Silver Ferns national team and a sponsor of Tennis New Zealand’s Hot Shots junior programme.
