Pirtek has agreed a five-year deal for the naming rights to the Parramatta Stadium in Australia – home of National Rugby League side Parramatta Eels and A-League football club Western Sydney Wanderers.
The fluid transfer solutions firm agreed the deal with Venues NSW – the organisation for the management of government-owned sports venues in the Hunter, Western Sydney and Illawarra regions of the country.
The venue will now be known as the Pirtek Stadium under the terms of its first ever naming rights deal.
The stadium is also set to undergo a major redevelopment in the near future – a project Pirtek will support.
Pirtek had held a nine-year relationship with the Parramatta Eels as the club’s main sponsor –a deal that ended this year.
“Branding on this iconic stadium in a long-term deal with Venues NSW was a logical step for us as it fitted in well with our national branding strategy,” Pirtek’s chief executive officer, Stephen Dutton, said.
