US sportswear company Nike has renewed its apparel partnership with the University of Oregon’s athletics department.
Local news service KVAL said that the new 11-year agreement would run until May 31, 2028.
Nike, whose headquarters are in Beaverton, Oregon, will continue to provide the university’s Ducks athletics teams with apparel and equipment.
The university will reportedly receive between $2m (€1.7m) and $2.5m each year from Nike, as well as $5m to $6m in gear each year.
The deal, which was approved on Friday, also includes a $3m signing bonus and grants two Oregon students summer internships at Nike.
