Danish manufacturing company Moldow has agreed a deal to sponsor the Speedway Grand Prix motorcycling series.
The two-year deal covers the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
The agreement further cements Moldow’s position within the series, with the company also a long-time sponsor of triple world champion Nicki Pedersen (pictured). Moldow also supports Emil Sayfutdinov, Rasmus Jensen and Jonas Jeppesen, and is the title sponsor of the Moldow Speedway Arena in Holsted, where the company is based.
Torben Olsen, managing director of BSI Speedway, the series’ promoter, said: “It’s great to welcome Moldow back. They have previously served as a title sponsor of SGP events, and we look forward to working with them throughout the next two years.
“Moldow have been fantastic supporters of our sport and the riders. And in return, we hope the sport’s worldwide appeal will play its part in taking their already global brand into even more markets.”
Moldow managing director K. Preben Hansen added: “The SGPs are very well-branded events getting exposure and press all over the world, so when the opportunity to return as sponsor came up, our decision was easy.
“With the sponsorship of two world-class riders and now also the SGP series, we will be looking forward to both an exciting 2018 speedway season and getting our name out there to spectators and viewers all over the world.”
Moldow specialises in the production of energy-efficient dust extraction systems and painting lines.
