Information and communication technology company Acer has struck a one-year partnership with Major League Baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays.
The deal will run until the end of the 2014 season.
Acer becomes an official partner of the Blue Jays and will support the team with a national marketing campaign.
The company will also benefit from in-stadium promotions and branding, including a double outfield wall position, digital signage and an in-game feature.
In addition, Acer will be the exclusive sponsor of the Sportsnet Pitch Tracker, shown in broadcasts, for the first half of the season. The firm will also support the Home Run Scholars initiative, which is run by the club’s Jays Care Foundation programme.
