English Premier League champion Manchester City has announced a two-year partnership with the Cameroonian branch of South African-based telecommunications provider MTN.
Under the deal, MTN has acquired licensing rights to the club crest and player imagery in marketing campaigns in Cameroon.
MTN Cameroon has 10.2 million active subscribers nationwide and recently launched the MTN Mobile Money mobile banking platform for payment and money transfers.
City will also provide MTN Cameroon with statistics and audio as well as video content for mobile phones and internet platforms, charting its progress in the Premier League and Uefa Champions League.
Additionally, MTN customers will be able to win experiences such as access to behind-the-scenes training sessions and VIP match day tickets.
