Video game developer EA Sports has entered into a partnership with English Premier League football club Liverpool.
The long-term partnership names EA Sports as Liverpool’s official football simulation game partner. The deal has been signed ahead of the release of EA Sports’ Fifa 20 game in September.
As part of the agreement, Liverpool and EA Sports will work together on club-specific content that will be distributed across the club’s social channels.
In February 2017, current Liverpool chief executive Peter Moore left EA Sports to join the club. Moore had worked at EA Sports for over 10 years as chief operating officer and, in his final year, chief competition officer.
This month has also seen Liverpool expand its partnership with automotive brand MG Motor and sign a new deal with online betting company 1xBet.
