Lenovo to sponsor Turkish basketball top tier

IT and tech company Lenovo has agreed a deal to become the new main sponsor of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi top-tier club basketball competition.

The deal, brokered by the Infront agency on behalf of the Turkish Basketball Federation, will run through to the end of the 2018-19 season.

Lenovo will receive an on-court branding presence at all games, while the firm will also supply the Süper Ligi and its clubs with devices and products such as tablets, computers, cameras and display screens.

In addition, top players from the Süper Ligi will feature in Lenovo’s upcoming advertising campaigns.

Emre Hantaloğlu, general manager of Lenovo Turkey, said: “Lenovo’s position as a brand that produces powerful and innovative technology will make this a positive collaboration, allowing us to share our expertise and enhance the success of the league.

“The partnership is synonymous with the modern basketball game, and this forward-thinking approach when it comes to innovation is something the Turkish Basketball Federation and Lenovo commonly share.”
